An independent, unlimited word puzzle. Built by people who like word puzzles.
Why “forever”
The original Wordle is one puzzle a day. That's a great constraint — it makes the game social, makes everyone's morning conversations align, and prevents the dopamine grind. But sometimes you just want another round. Word Play Forever is for that. No daily wait. No streak to protect. Just one more puzzle, then another.
What we don't do
- No accounts. No email, no password, no “sign in with Google.”
- No servers storing your gameplay. The whole game runs in your browser. Your stats live in local storage on this device.
- No tracking pixels or ad networks. We use a single privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views, and that's it.
- No paywalls or premium tiers. Everything is free and always will be.

Word Play Forever is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The New York Times Company or Josh Wardle, the original creator of Wordle. We made this because we love the game and wanted an unlimited version for ourselves.
